MEET ALYSIA
I’m Aly Perez, RN, and the founder of ALTER Aesthetics in Pasadena. Before aesthetics, I worked in telemetry, critical care, and psychiatric nursing. Those years taught me to notice the details, ask good questions, and lead with empathy.
With over 12 years in aesthetics, I start every visit with an assessment. We talk about your goals and concerns first, then build a plan that respects your features and looks ahead to the long term.
As a queer, Latina, neurodivergent provider, I created ALTER for people who want thoughtful treatment and room to be themselves. Ask questions, share your preferences, and show up as you are. The atmosphere has an alternative edge, and the care is grounded in education, honest recommendations, and support beyond your appointment.
You’ll find me at live shows, in weird little shops, or adding to my tattoo collection. Come as you are and leave ALTERed.

My approach prioritizes your individual features and goals. We'll discuss what's realistic and build a thoughtful plan, whether you want a subtle refresh or a more noticeable change.
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
You don't have to figure that out alone. I'll explain my recommendations, what each treatment can and can't do, and whether it makes sense for you.
Can we build a plan around my budget?
Absolutely. Share your budget during your consultation so we can prioritize your goals and discuss spacing treatments over time. There's no pressure to do everything at once.
Is ALTER an LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent-friendly space?
Yes. As a queer, neurodivergent provider, creating an affirming environment is personal to me. Your pronouns, preferences, and questions are welcome. If something would make your appointment more comfortable, please let me know.
